Deborah Merrens graduated with a BA (Hons) degree in International Marketing from Greenwich University, London in 1987. She commenced her marketing career as a graduate trainee with Danone Yogurts. After her training in the fast moving consumer goods industry, she then decided to move into travel in 1995.
Deborah transitioned to the travel industry by working first for Eurotunnel as Head of Advertising and Brand. Following this, she worked for 4 years in marketing for Delta Airlines at their European Headquarters in London. More recently she spent 5 years at British Airways in a variety of roles and International locations. Prior to joining Hilton, Deborah was Director of Loyalty - Americas for BA, based in New York.
Continuing to specialise in the field of loyalty marketing and travel, Deborah joined Hilton Hotels as the Director of Loyalty Marketing for Asia Pacific, in July 2006.
